KIMMY IS VERY AFFECTIONATE AND SWEET- gives gentle kisses Adorable Kim was found as a stray and brought to a high kill shelter where she was said to be 10 years young. While she is now healthy and healed, she sadly ended up on the shelter euthanasia list after she was attacked by another dog in the playyard who dragged her, causing wounds to her face. The shelter had to shave her body to look for and treat any wounds. A good samaritain thankfully saved her on her final day, and described Kimmy as 'soooooo sweet' and said, She was already licking my face when I was transporting her. This well intended home ideally hoped to integrate her into their pack of other dogs since the shelter found she was 'coexisting peacefully with relaxed dogs' and even noted after the attack 'was able to coexist nicely with other calm dogs.' However, perhaps due to the trauma, Kimmy is not doing well with other dogs in this home at times. While there has been some improvement, the home explained. 'We found out that Kim is a very clingy dog. She has to be close to people. When she sees us giving love to other dogs, she gets jealous and that's when the growling and the snarling begins.' For the safety of all, this home is now seeking a foster or permanent home who has no other dogs to avoid future problems, where Kim will feel safe. Kimmy is extremely affectionate and loves to be pet and cuddled. She is also great on a leash, potty trained, and will make a wonderful companion.
