Ava (and her sister Briel) were at a rural shelter in California, and despite how beautiful and sweet they are, they sat there and were overlooked because of the overpopulation of dogs in CA. Luckily Ava and Briel were staff and volunteer favorites and with their support we were able to get the girls to the east coast where they are safe from euthanasia and will not have to stay in a shelter as they wait to be adopted.
