Sweet Andi's behavior seems to be leveling off, and she is doing really well. She even started meeting potential adopters. Her obsession with balls and play toys will not change, but it is a fun activity to share with her. She will do best with dogs that are a bit more submissive and less possessive than her. She is absolutely gorgeous. She is loving and snuggly too. Little Andi was brought into rescue because she ran off from her property and the owner did not want her back. Sadly she has been rehomed 2 or 3 other times. Maybe she just didn't have a stable, loving home. We gave her some time to decompress and feel safe. She settled in nicely. We have seen some behaviors that are less than desirable. She had to be muzzled at first while having her nails trimmed/ paws worked on. The rest of her groom was a joy. She is slowly learning to trust more. She does show extreme resource guarding. We have been working on what triggers her. She is NOT a pet for little children. She also has a bit of hair loss. It could be diet related or an old flea allergy. We continue medicated baths. She is a loving little girl and really full of excitement and a zest for life. Spayed, seems potty trained, up to date on immunizations and heartworm prevention. Dachshund/Yorkie mix 6 years 11.4 lbs Apply to Adopt: https://forms.gle/XULfWRjBrhKSEqHi6
