Chester's Story Meet Chester, 22 lb beagle, shy, is getting over being unsure, wagging his tail & sleeping in his crate. Quiet! Loves to run around the fenced yard, smelling as if a rabbit had just run by. Loves to be lazy in the house in 1 of many of our doggy beds...leaves the cat alone..is getting playful w. some toys. Walking on leash and going potty outside! Chester is our senior beagle who now loves playing w/toys & other dogs, cozying in a lap, walks, car rides to stores & lunch spots, happy in his crate to eat & sleep & exploring a fenced yard. We believe he lived his whole life in a crate in a lab. We have medical issues to learn & help him. But I watched him learn to be this dog u just read. it was a struggle for him to come out of the crate, to go down the steps to run in the yard. He loves life. I would love a new foster or interest in adoption who has more mobility & time to give him. He's so happy! He had fun w/a young foster who took him to enjoy many places & people!
