About Chester

��ժ INTRODUCING CHESTER ��ժ Chester, affectionately known as Cheeto, is an approximately 4-5-year-old Papillon mix searching for his forever home through PAWS Rescue inc. Chester came from a hoarding situation, so the world can still feel a little overwhelming to him at times. While he's naturally timid, this sweet boy is beginning to blossom more every day. After his very first groom, Chester came back feeling like a brand-new pup - proudly showing off his adorable smile, rolling happily in the grass, and giving the sweetest puppy kisses. He loves relaxing near his person on the couch while soaking up scratches and affection. Chester is also learning to walk on a leash and is doing wonderfully. With patience, love, and reassurance, he is going to make someone an incredibly loyal and loving companion. Chester is mostly potty trained and is kennel trained as well. In fact, during the day you'll often find him happily relaxing in his kennel by choice. He may have an occasional accident if left loose while alone - mostly because he doesn't enjoy being away from his people. He can get a little anxious around lots of loud barking, but he has lived successfully with both big and small dogs. Chester has not yet been exposed to cats or other animals. He is gentle and friendly with people, though he needs a little time to feel safe and build trust. When scared, he won't bite - he simply retreats and hides until he feels comfortable again. *Fenced yard required* Chester's perfect home will be one filled with patience, kindness, and understanding as he continues learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. ��%90%BE
