Meet Marissa! Marissa is a sweet and sassy tortoiseshell beauty with a gorgeous fluffy tail she proudly shows off everywhere she goes! Born in Fall 2025, this playful girl is full of curiosity, personality, and charm. After spending several months in foster care, Marissa has blossomed into a loving and playful companion. She enjoys batting around toys, chasing wand teasers, and spending time with other playful cats - especially male cats who match her energy and confidence. She also loves wet food, cat treats, cozy cat beds, and birdwatching from the window. At bedtime, Marissa's softer side comes out. She enjoys snuggling nearby and relaxing on the bed with her people once she feels safe and comfortable. Marissa was found as a young kitten trying to survive outdoors alongside older neighborhood cats, so she can still be a little cautious at times and likes to take things at her own pace. Because of her rough start, she has developed an independent spirit, but with patience, love, and a calm home, she continues to grow sweeter and more affectionate every day. Watching her learn to trust and enjoy indoor life has been incredibly rewarding. Marissa is FIV/FELV negative, spayed, and fully vaccinated. She's looking for a patient, loving forever home that will appreciate her playful personality, beautiful tortie attitude, and the wonderful companion she's becoming.
