We have a sweet male Staffordshire Terrier who wandered onto our front lawn on 5/20 afternoon. We have taken him in for now, and have been feeding and loving on him. He seemed so tired, confused and just defeated, his eyes definitely tell a story. He is very friendly and gentle, despite whatever he's been through. It didn't take him long to warm up to us. He's clearly lost, or was dumped, and we feel it was likely the latter. He is the sweetest boy. He doesn't have a collar, and he seems like he might be around 6 or 7 years old. He's not flea infested, doesn't appear to be dirty or to have missed too many meals, yet. We really want to be careful about where he goes...he has some old scarring on him. We don't want him to end up as a bait dog, (it looks like he may have been used for that at some point in his life). We can't keep him, we have to Old English Sheepdogs, (females), who are not spayed...and they are a bonded pair, don't take well to other dogs. We did have him scanned for a chip and he does have one, he was adopted out of a place in Houston. We have asked them for the adopter/owners contact information but they haven't responded. We are afraid even if we find them that if they took him back they might do worse trying to get rid of him. ��%BD��%BD He doesn't deserve that!! We don't want to dump him at a shelter where they would likely end his life; we want to find him a loving family he deserves. Clearly, humans have totally let him down. We are in the Stagecoach.
