The adoption donation of $175.00 covers spay / neuter, vaccinations, microchip, deworming, and current monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention. She is not lucky because of her previous life, which obviously included multiple litters and one not too long ago. She is now safe after spending the last week hanging close to a low water slab which it is presumed the area she was dumped. But she sure could use a real home to get her cleaned up and show her what it is to be loved. She is now vaccinated, heartworm tested - Negative, and microchipped. She will be fixed the end of the month and will be ready for a new home soon after. She weighed 64 lb, but her hip bones and ribs are very prominent underneath her unkept fur so she needs to add at least five pounds. She is estimated 5 years old. Don't know her breed, the vet suggested Golden Retriever, possibly Great Pyrenees, or Leonberger. She is good with cats, multiple dogs, and children. When I brought her in the house, she went straight for the sofa. She started using the doggie door on her own almost immediately and is just a lovely lady.
