About Tessa

Tessa Rose is an energetic, loving dog who is a mix of a Pitt bull terrier, Aussie Cattle Dog and Boxer. She has had lots of training and is very obedient. She loves to lick you and loves to be chased at the dog park. We rescued her when she was about 10 months old and she is now almost 5. She gets along GREAT with other dogs and even our cat, Bill. We are looking for a home that has a lot of space to run and no kids. She would absolutely love farm life! We've found that she is too reactive around kids and the situations are too unpredictable, especially if she doesn't get enough daily exercise. Occasionally, when she has been in those situations or if strangers enter her personal space too quickly, she has nipped at arms (never broken the skin). This is the reason we are looking for a new home. As our kids have gotten a little older, and their friends are running in and out of the house often, we are having a tough time managing those scenarios. It breaks our hearts to give her up, but we think she would do much better with someone who can exercise her more and avoid so many children/ strangers coming in the house.
