Two-year-old Johnny was pulled from the shelter with an natural 'Happy Tail'-a condition where continuous wagging in a cramped kennel causes the tail to repeatedly strike walls and open up. Unable to heal in that environment, he was sprung from the shelter and rushed to the vet to address his wounds. Johnny is a massive favorite among his Hollywood-area fosters, but everyone is currently playing a waiting game as medical staff evaluate whether his tail can be saved. While he recovers, he is standing strong, resting up, and universally described as a very good boy. What's Next for Johnny:Medical Evaluation: The vet team is carefully treating the injury and deciding on the best course of action to help him heal.Foster Care: He is recuperating comfortably with his Hollywood fosters while he heals.Adoption Updates: We are monitoring his progress closely and will share new details as soon as he is ready for his forever home!To follow Johnny's road to recovery, stay tuned for more updates on the official Instagram pages of his local rescue and foster networks.
