Mama's story began on the my street as a feral, but her life changed forever this past December. After, I found two tiny kittens stuck between paving stones in my backyard, Mama appeared in our rescue trap. The moment she was reunited with her babies, the fear vanished. Instead of hissing, she was pure joy showering them (and me!) with love and gentleness. She has spent every moment since then being the perfect nurturing little Mama to her two boys. Now, Mama has started showing her playful side. Hide and seek with her boys has become quite enjoyable for her. She will go in for the pounce, all the while maintaining her poised gentle self. She loves looking out the window. Every morning and every night, I open up the window for her to feel the breeze and take in the fresh air. She likes to talk and tell me what she sees outside. Usually, it is the neighbors cat. From feral to amazing, Mama is truly a sweet cat. Just a good girl! Never once a scratch or a hiss! A little shy and uncertain at times, but always a good girl! She is an absolute 'A+' perfect patient at the vet. She is 2 years old and weighs 9 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and on flea/heartworm preventative. THE PERFECT HOME - Because of her background, Mama needs a calm, quiet household with no dogs and an adopter who understands the 'decompression' period. She needs someone with the time, love, and patience to let her blossom at her own pace. Once she feels safe in her new surroundings, Mama will undoubtedly be your most loyal, affectionate, and loving companion. She has given so much love to her babies-now it is her turn to receive it.
