About Rusty

When Rusty came to us as a stray with a collar we had high hopes of reuniting him with his owner. We were able to track down their information based on his rabies tag, but sadly they never got back to us or reclaimed him. Now he's hoping for a fresh start with a family that will appreciate just how wonderful he is. Rusty is an easygoing, happy boy with a medium energy level and a playful side. He gets the cutest zoomies when he first gets out in the play yard! He's great on a leash and walks without pulling. He also already knows how to sit on command, and takes treats gently from your hand like a gentleman. He enjoys chasing after a ball, even if he only hangs onto it for a minute before moving on to the next adventure. Rusty loves attention, enjoys being pet, and is perfectly content relaxing in the shade by your side. He's the kind of dog who's simply happy to be with you.
