About Boysenberry

Miniature Pinscher / Chihuahua
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Boysenberry!! BOYSENBERRY- male brown and tan. 4.6 pounds. Will be ready for adoption 05/26/26 when he is 8 weeks old. This sweet puppy was born to a momma dog (Guava) that was taken from a large hoarding situation. We do not know his exact breed mix both the ones that had DNA done were a huge mix of things with poodle and shih tzu being predominant and a bit of min pin at the top of the list as well. His mom favors a chihuahua in looks but doesnt act like one. Whatever he is he should stay fairly small. The biggest dogs in the hoarding house were 20 pounds full grown. His mom Guava only weighs 11 pounds. Puppies will be given several sets of vaccines, deworming , a microchip and spayed/neutered as part of their adoptions. *** They are still very young and their personalities are likely to change as they develop.*** Boysenberry loves other dogs and love people. He has not met any cats yet but is young enough to learn. He is still a baby and is not potty trained. He is not leash or crate trained yet. Boysenberry is doing well with puppy pad training. He is currently together with his mom, it's very likely that there will be some sleepless nights in your home with crate training once he is separated. He has not had any trouble sharing food treats and toys. He has also done well on car rides. He is currently active, happy, and playful. He has been raised inside and handled often. He is very friendly and social. He is also smart and learning quickly. He loves to explore and play. He is very cuddly and loves to be on your lap or under the blankets with you. He also loves toys and chew bones. Adopting a young puppy is a ton of work. They will have lots of potty accidents, chew things up etc. You will need to help them learn things like leash walking, crate training and basic manners. It can be a lot of work but the reward is a dog that fits well into your family's lifestyle if you invest proper time on training with them. Please carefully consider the time and effort a puppy requires before adopting. Vet and home checks required. Located in Hampton VA. (He will need to be adopted within a 1 hour drive radius) To get an application or for questions email us directly at [email protected] For faster response and to see more pics visit our facebook page.
