About Jax

Jax is a handsome 8-year-old Redbone Coonhound with a wonderful temperament and an easygoing nature. He's in great shape and is one of those dogs who seems to make friends wherever he goes. Jax has participated in close-contact group walks with a wide variety of dogs and has consistently been calm, congenial, and well-mannered. A favorite among the dog-walking volunteers, Jax is known for his pleasant personality and impeccable leash manners. He enjoys getting out and about, and walking with him is truly a pleasure. Jax does have one area that will require some management: he has shown signs of resource guarding around food. Because of this, he would do best being fed separately from other dogs. Aside from mealtime concerns, he is an exceptionally relaxed and agreeable companion. Jax is a bright, intelligent boy, and with proper, consistent training, his resource-guarding behavior may continue to improve. His many wonderful qualities far outweigh this manageable issue. Sweet, gentle, and easy to love, Jax is truly a gem of a dog who is ready to find a home where he will be surrounded by the love and companionship he so deserves. ��%90%BE�%9D%A4��%8F
