We adopted Luna at 2 months old from a rescue. When we got her, she was very loving and cuddly. She is 3 years old, and spayed. Since turning a year old, her temperament has changed significantly. She is a lot more timid (especially around my husband/males) and doesn't come around as often. She likes to hid and is fairly independent. She gets along with our other cat but is not fond of our big dog, but will be ok being in the same area. I was admitted into the hospital last summer, and Luna started sneaking into my young son's bedroom and peeing all over his bedding and stuffed animals. This has happened multiple times of we forget to shut his bedroom door. She is still using the litter box and eating and drinking fine too. We have tried many different diffusers, enzyme cleaners, and citrus sprays, but she also will remark. We have also had a huge change as far as our family dynamic, we have recently brought home my daughter from the NICU who is medically fragile and requires much support. She is a WONDERFUL cat and I want the best for her, and I think she would thrive in a home that she could have a more calming environment. She does like to cuddle up with me on the couch in the mornings, but doesn't come out much during the day. If you think you could be a good fit, please reach out.
