About Kiba

Kiba is a 9-year-old German Shepherd/Ridgeback mix with a big heart and a calm, loving personality. Born in Rwanda, she has lived in Europe and the US - a true world traveler who loves car rides and settles easily into new environments. She is obedient, crate trained, and comfortable being home alone for long hours. She doesn't bark or destroy things but simply waits patiently for her person to come home. Once you're back, she'll want to be right by your side, ideally on the couch. She is active and playful for her age and enjoys jogging, slow bike rides, and splashing in water. She knows her commands and responds well to calm, confident handling. Kiba does best in a quieter home with outdoor space and older children. She has a strong prey drive, so no cats or small animals. She can be leash reactive toward other dogs, so an experienced owner will get the best out of her. She is loyal, gentle, and fun. She just needs the right person to give her the loving home and attention she deserves for her golden years.
