This sweet senior has a gentle, caretaker's heart. She bonds deeply with her people and will happily be your steady, loving shadow. Nana would prefer to join an adult home with stability and predictability. She can be a bit confused by new people entering the home. She is hoping for a patient, understanding home that will give her comfort, routine, and reassurance when she needs it. In return, she'll give you unconditional love and a calm, devoted companionship that only a senior dog can offer. Independent as well as affectionate, Nana is just as content to nap on the porch or lounge in the yard as she is to enjoy a car ride or a slow stroll. She walks beautifully on leash and loves to take in the world at her own pace. Nana prefers to be the only pet in the home. Sweet Nana joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after she was found as a stray. Due to her senior status, they felt she would do best in a senior focused rescue to find that perfect forever family to fit her needs.
