Whiskey May is a 3%BD%BD-year-old Labrador who is fully vaccinated and very loyal to her people. She is affectionate with familiar people and does best in a calm, structured environment. Whiskey May is reactive toward strangers and other animals. She can become anxious and overstimulated around unfamiliar people, pets, and busy environments. She has jumped on strangers when overstimulated and needs careful introductions and consistent handling. She is not crate trained, and crates are a significant trigger for her anxiety/reactivity. Because of this, crate use is not recommended without professional guidance and training. Whiskey May would do best in: %BD' A calm home environment %BD' A home with experienced dog owners %BD' No other pets %BD' Older children or an adult-only home %BD' Limited visitors and controlled introductions She bonds deeply once she trusts someone and has many loving qualities, but she needs an owner who understands reactive dogs and can provide patience, structure, and management. Known history: %BD' Fully vaccinated %BD' 3%BD%BD years old %BD' Reactive toward strangers and animals %BD' Not crate trained %BD' Crates are a trigger for her I want to be completely transparent about Whiskey May's needs to help ensure a safe and successful permanent placement for both her and her future home.
