Stirling used to survive as a community cat in DC. For a long time, residents cared for him, until they moved away. Suddenly, Stirling was left behind with no one checking on him, feeding him, or protecting him. He became thin and developed a severe ear mite infection. He scratched at his ears so intensely that the cartilage was permanently damaged, leaving him with his signature wavy ears. He was abandonded for months/years (who knows?). But despite everything Stirling's been through, he is still one of the sweetest cats you could ever meet. He doesn't hide from people, he seeks them out. He walks up confidently, asks for affection directly, and acts like you've been friends all along. If you've been looking for a cat with personality, resilience, and a huge heart, look no further! He does get along well with Dumpling O'Brien (they were best buds in the wild), although they both absolutely love attention, and they and will compete for it.
