Hi, this is Thor. He's almost 7 years old and I've had him since he was 6 weeks. He's 70-pound pit mix and well trained. He's very well behaved on leash so if you take him to stores or on walks, he will do good. He has a large scar down his stomach from a surgery he needed after swallowing a tennis ball, but it doesn't bother him. He has a non-cancerous lipoma in his back, but again it doesn't seem to cause him any pain. You will be new to him so just give him some time to get used to you. I've spent thousands putting him through board and train programs so he isn't reactive to other dogs anymore, but he's the only dog in the house and should stay that way (this means no other dogs in the household.) The ONLY reason I'm rehoming him is because he does not do well with kids and we just had a baby who will be crawling soon. He CANNOT be in a home with small children. He doesn't bark or growl, so body language is the best way to read him. I've tried to train him as best I can to help with this, but it hasn't taken. He's a great boy, very sweet with adults. I take him everywhere I go, so he may even get recognized at local stores. I don't want to euthanize him, but most of the shelters won't take larger dogs and many have rules against pitties. Please, if he sounds like a fit for you, message me and we can talk about meeting him. I want him to have a chance to live the rest of his life. I can drive as far as 12 hours to bring him to a good home.
