About Prodigy *Hospice*

American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

Sweet 14 y/o Prodigy found himself on the euthanasia list at the local kill shelter where he came in as a stray (in bad shape). He clearly wasn't well taken care of - he was a emaciated, had gooey/drippy eyes, scabs on his skin and patches of missing fur, so it's no surprise that nobody came looking for him. :'-( We couldn't let this poor soul's life end in a cold, uncaring place so he was pulled from the shelter in the knick of time and sent for testing at the vet where it was determined that he has advanced kidney/liver disease and is likely in congestive heart failure. We honestly do not know how much time he has left - it could be a few days or it could be a few months. We are desperately seeking a kind-hearted, compassionate soul who is touched by his story and his sad face and who is willing to make sure he gets to experience a safe home, a soft bed or couch, and to know he is LOVED and valued before he crosses over the rainbow bridge. ***** If you are able to help sweet Prodigy, please TEXT/CALL Aly at 732-604-0625 ASAP as his time is running out! ***** Thank you for caring about a precious life in urgent need!
