About Apollo

Apollo is a stunning male Chow Chow with a thick lion-like coat in warm golden and cream tones, a signature fluffy curled tail, and the classic broad teddy bear face the breed is known for. Apollo carries himself with a relaxed, confident presence, is incredibly loyal and affectionate. Apollo is well-socialized and comfortable around other animals, shown by how peacefully he's relaxing near the cat. Overall, he's a beautiful, healthy young Chow with a very sweet and calm temperament with adults. His biggest down fall is food aggression towards small children. We are rehoming him because we have four small children that we can no longer trust Apollo with as he gets older and stronger. He's not fixed, but he's micro chipped and up to date on his shots. We love him so much, we believe the most responsible and compassionate choice is to find him a home better suited for his needs - ideally one with experienced owners who can continue working with him and provide the structure, patience, and environment he deserves. This has been heartbreaking for our family, and we are not looking to simply 'get rid of' him. We want to make sure Apollo goes to a safe, loving home where he can thrive and continue being the loyal companion we know he is. He has toys, food, kennel, leash and even a pet vac that will go with him.
