About Choppa

My name is Choppa, and I've had quite a journey to get here. When my person passed away, I ended up with a family member who worked very long hours - and well you know us cockers need our humans, so it was a sad time for me. They loved me enough to ask for help, and here I am. Ready for my real fresh start. I'm 11 years old and 28 lbs�'�|a calm and dignified gentleman. I'm not a Velcro cocker - I won't follow you from room to room - but I enjoy human and canine company. Sweet-natured and polite, a little reserved at first, and completely comfortable being on my own. No anxiety here. Just a low-key guy with old-soul charm who thrives when life is calm and predictable. I do great with calm dogs and I happily co-exist with cats. I don't pay them any mind. Older, dog-savvy kids are fine by me - though I'll quietly excuse myself from anything loud or chaotic. �Ϭ I'm fully housebroken and a dream on leash - I love my walks! Great in the car too - I enjoy a good nap or watching the world go by. Skip the crate please - I'm not a fan of being confined. I'm more of a cushy chair or cozy dog bed kind of gentleman. I take treats gently, and my one quirky passion? Cardboard boxes and paper. Save those Amazon boxes for me. I'm in excellent health! I have double cherry eyes that FCCR will have treated before I come home to you, plus dry eye that needs daily drops - which I take like a total pro.
