About The Dragons

Wirehaired Pointing Griffon / Irish Wolfhound
Age: Young Puppy

Mom & 6 Pups (The World of Dragons) arrived at Pima Animal Care Center 05/06/2026............................................................. Should be adoptable from PACC June 9th after their surgeries, if not pre-adopted, and whatever the current fees are (right now FREE!).. I can give links for pre-adoption to anyone I have pre-vetted. If you are interested in any of these wonderful fluff balls or fabulous pretrained adult, text me and we can exchange details and plan a meet and greet. Please read full listing before asking questions. Thank you. .......................................................................................... Damballa (dome ball ah) W. African benevolant dragon............. Tan & White Wire haired (low shed) maybe rough Pointer/Griffon/Irish Wolfhound/Vizsla or Jack Russel/Border Terrier type mix.. 1 blue eye 1 brown eye 18 months, 47 lbs. She seems very well trained sit, come, no and appears housebroken. Walks good on a leash. WARNING She can clear a 4 foot fence EASY - if she wants to. Weaning has started with separation from pups overnight and periodically during the day only nursing after pups have eaten mush ................................................................... 05/16/2026 Mom & Pups starting at foster. first night 10p - 5a with only one crying periodically, and only 1 having an accident. second night 10p - almost 6a no crying and all have used the potty area only overnight and waited for outside during the day - so far third night took everyone out to potty before bed, 2 started screaming, for attention I thought, nope - telling me they didn't poop yet so I should listen next time = potty training in motion, and poops are getting more solid (YAY!) 4th night - 10p - 6a and ZERO indoor poops. Eating about 1 1/4 c soaked kibble each for Breakfast and dinner nursing a little after ..................................................................... Pups are likely rough Pointer/Griffon/Irish Wolfhound/Vizsla or Jack Russel/Border Terrier type wire haired mix with maybe husky or heeler (likely due to blue eyes and tail patterns) or shepherd. Currently their coat is soft. Quetzalcoatl is fluffiest. Weight 7.4 pounds at 6 weeks which is half the weight of the last foster litter of girls that now average 29 pounds at 4 months. So, it looks like they may end up on the medium end of size. One strategy for estimating adult size is that small breeds triple their weight at 8 weeks, and medium-large breeds double their weight at 16 weeks ....................................... Quetzalcoatl (ket zoo coo ott-L) Aztec/Mayan dragon union of heaven and earth......................................................................................... Male Brindle and white ....................................................... One blue eye one black eye
