About Cain

BEWARE!!! He will learn you. He will study you. He will know how to push your buttons. And he will do it all sweet and adorable like so you can't possibly say no to him. Once Cain was removed from a situation of neglect and placed in a space where he felt safe and sound, his chipper personality was finally able to be shared with the world. While he continues to need consistency with training and reassurance, he has made great progress from what he once was before. This brave dog wants nothing more than to be next to you, loving you, and to have a place in your heart and family. He is still working on manners so older kids who would love to help with training would be perfect. He does well with roommates of the feline kind. He is still unsure around other dogs but does not show extreme aggressiveness (more flight response). He does have some close up vision issues-nothing serious, just know both of you will be scared walking in the dark together. He does require an experienced owner.
