About Bonobo

Meet Bonobo - a quirky, affectionate pup looking for a new home by June 5th. Bonobo is house trained, walks well on leash, and knows basic commands. He's loyal and snuggly - anywhere you go he wants to be with you! He's a big lap dog and lover of making himself blanket forts, playing with squeaky toys, and basking in the sun. He's got a spunky personality and would be an great companion for a single owner or a couple. Bonobo is being rehomed due to his guardian's declining health and inability to continue caring for him. He's lived a hard life and has subsequently struggles with anxiety and has bitten in the past, particularly with new folks or when he's cornered or handled when scared, so a calm, respectful environment is important. A home without small children or cats would be best. Bonobo is a sensitive, loyal dog who bonds deeply with his people. With patience, structure, and understanding, he has the potential to be an incredibly rewarding companion.
