About Haku

Haku is a 2 year old male Chow that was rescued from euthanasia. His owners raised him from a puppy and never had chows before. Due to a bite incident with��%BD��%BD%BD%A0their thirteen year old son which did not require stitches, the owners wanted him eliminated. This bite came out of nowhere and he has shown no aggression so this has��%BD��%BD%BD%A0been a very odd case.��%BD��%BD%BD%A0 The owners��%BD��%BD%BD%A0reached out to Adopt a Chow LA and Haku is now with a foster in Las Vegas.��%BD��%BD%BD%A0 Haku was left outside for over a month by his owners after the 'incident' and has some anxiety. His foster has kitties and kitties are a Big No for Haku. Haku is dog friendly��%BD��%BD%BD%A0with male and female chows and with little dogs. ��%BD��%BD%BD%A0He has shown no aggression even when the foster accidentally grabbed��%BD��%BD%BD%A0the scruff of his neck when pulling him away from a makeshift baby gate to control��%BD��%BD%BD%A0a Kitty situation. He is a��%BD��%BD%BD%A0happy boy and��%BD��%BD%BD%A0is always smiling. He does have anxiety, however, which is understandable given that he left outside for over a month, and although the owner said that they groomed him regularly, he came to the Foster with matting that showed lack of attention to his fur with��%BD��%BD%BD%A0Diarrhea on his haunches. Haku has a Banfield pet contract through the end of the year. He has all of his shots and is neutered. His birthday is May 26, 2024. He will be two years old. He is a bouncy boy and will make someone a great companion. ��%BD��%BD%BD%A0He has lots of energy and would love to be taken for long walks and loves to be played with.
