Name: Koda Age: DOB 1/25/21 Breed: German Shepherd/Border Collie mix, 50 pounds Sex: Male (neutered) Location: Stark County, Ohio Good Samaritan rescued Koda from his previous owner wanting to euthanize him. Koda needs a forever home. Vet Info: Koda has been neutered and is microchipped. He is now current with his vaccinations and is HW-. He is almost completely blind from Pannus (aka Chronic Superficial Keratitis) that was left untreated. Dog Info: Koda's owner was hospitalized and was going to euthanize him because they couldn't find a home for him. Good Samaritan has taken ownership and is trying to find him a home. He is housebroken and leash trained. He knows the commands: sit, down and come. He is an outgoing boy that is good with men, women and teenagers. Koda does not do well with GS's dog or cat so he might be best as an only pet. He is fine when GS's are not near their dog but will lunge at the dog when they are. He is an indoor dog confined to one area of the house. He is not possessive with treats, toys or food. Koda does not do well at the vet. He snapped at vet tech and had to be muzzled when GS took him in to get current with vaccinations. He had not been to the vet since he was a puppy. He is otherwise not aggressive at all.
