This sweet senior Plott Hound was suffering from painful chronic dermatitis affecting his legs, belly, hind end, and ears. He desperately needed medical care, comfort, and stability. Then something wonderful happened. A compassionate woman named Diane saw Bernie's story and knew he belonged with her. She adopted him, gave him the love and care he so desperately needed, and completely transformed his life. For the first time in a long time, Bernie knew comfort, safety, and unconditional love. Sadly, last month, Diane unexpectedly passed away. Now Bernie has lost the person he loved most and once again finds himself searching for a forever home.
