URGENT - My 86-year-old father-in-law can no longer care for his 15-year-old cairn terrier. He is moving from independent living to assisted living, and therefore we much re-home him very soon. We are desperately trying to avoid shelter surrender for this senior dog and are looking for: rescue intake, foster placement, hospice/senior sanctuary, or an experienced adopter. The dog has been living with an elderly owner and would do best in a calm home. We are located in Chattanooga, TN. Please let me know if you can help!!
