About Yoshi

Yoshi is an estimated 10-year-old, 8.5-pound tan Pomeranian who still has plenty of pep in his step and absolutely no interest in acting his age. He's a sweet, easygoing little guy with a love for sunshine, sniffing adventures, and being close to his people. Yoshi gets along well with other dogs and completely ignores cats. He enjoys exploring outside and became known for quietly sneaking out the doggie door before everyone else even realized he was gone. He loves lounging in the yard, taking his time on walks, and investigating every interesting smell along the way. He's adaptable and settles easily into a routine. He has slept both in a dog bed and in bed with his people and seems happy with either as long as he's nearby. Yoshi jumps up on the couch to sit with his person and has a calm, affectionate presence that makes him very easy to live with. He rides well in a crate in the car, walks nicely on leash, and does well using a pet door to potty. While another foster mentioned he could growl around food with other dogs, this was not seen in his current foster home. Yoshi has the kind of personality that fits naturally into a home without demanding much. He's happy to explore, nap, enjoy some fresh air, and spend time with the people he loves. Yoshi is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. He is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
