About Asher

Meet Asher (Id A043474) Around 5-6 years old, Asher's story began in survival mode. He was found living alone in the desert in December 2025, scared and unsure of the world around him. When he arrived at the shelter, everything was overwhelming - but little by little, Asher has started to show his gentle heart. Asher is very dog friendly and truly blossoms around other dogs. Having canine companions helps him feel safe and confident, so he would do best in a patient, understanding home with other friendly dogs to guide him along the way. He walks wonderfully on leash and enjoys quiet companionship, but new people can still make him nervous at first. Give him time, kindness, and space to trust, and you'll see a sweet soul underneath his shy exterior. Asher is looking for someone willing to let him move at his own pace and show him what love and security feel like.
