About LUCY

Meet LUCY! Video here: https://www.facebook.com/share/r/18sXebLaPJ/ LUCY may look like a big girl in photos, but she's only about 36 lbs and around 8 months old! She has some features that resemble an Anatolian Shepherd, but she's much too small to truly fit the breed�'�|so your guess is as good as ours. We expect she'll be around 45 lbs fully grown. Though still an adolescent, LUCY is incredibly mature for her age. She is fully potty trained, crate trained, and has already mastered several basic commands. LUCY previously lived with another dog, but unfortunately it did not work out long term. Most of the time they were wonderful companions, but there were occasional issues surrounding food and attention. She is currently issue-free in foster care with several other dogs, but as we all know, behaviors can vary depending on the environment. LUCY truly enjoys playing and cuddling with other dogs, so as much as it saddens us to deprive her of a dog buddy in the home, we are thinking it's best to place her as the only dog in the household to ensure it's a forever fit. LUCY is a sweet, obedient, well-mannered dog who is wonderful in the home. Being young, she would enjoy regular exercise and playtime, but she does not require anything excessive. She is truly a lovely dog, and we hope to find her an equally wonderful family to love and cherish her forever. Located in private foster in CT.
