Background: Has been with Current Shepherd Parent since puppyhood. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. NOT Good with kids. Good with dogs, but has recently begun bullying the other household dog due to increasing anxiety. Unknown with cats. House trained. NOT Crate trained - does not like being crated and has escaped multiple crates. Does better if the crate is covered. Currently sleeps in crate overnight and is not allowed on furniture. Any known medical issues?: Anxiety requiring medication. Medication details will be provided later. Abuse/Neglect/Trauma History?: None disclosed. ENERGY LEVEL: High. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: High. Weighs 81 lbs. Currently on Diamond Lamb food. Good with car rides?: Yes. Socialized with: *people?: Yes. *dogs?: Yes. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): Yes, very excited. Loves: Outside time, peanut butter, attention, exploring, walks, cuddling, playing with dogs, being near his person, and Kong toys stuffed with peanut butter. Important Behavior Notes: Anxiety has worsened significantly with each new baby added to the home. Current Shepherd parent is expecting baby #3 on June 8th. Has started displaying destructive behaviors, worsening anxiety, Resource Guarding, and bullying the other household dog. Needs structure, calm environment, and consistency to help him succeed. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: This breed is super intelligent. *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): No. *Good on a Leash?: Yes. *Lovable?: This breed is super lovable once they claim you as their person/family. *Eager and fast learner?: This breed is super fast learners when they are being committed to and worked with. Bite History?: None disclosed. NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: He is a great baby, he loves attention and cuddles once he is comfortable but he has to come to you. Hes a huge lover and would love a small adult only new family. Re Homing because�'�|: Bronco's anxiety and negative behaviors have escalated around the growing family and young children in the home. Current Shepherd Parent no longer feels safe managing the situation with another baby arriving soon and fears euthanasia may become the only option if a proper home cannot be found in time. Bronco will be a wonderful companion for the right person in the right environment.
