This 2-year-old Norfolk Terrier spent the beginning of his life as a breeder dog in Houston, never really getting the chance to simply be someone's beloved companion. When he was finally brought to safety, the world was still big, unfamiliar, and a little scary for such a tiny guy. And true to his name, Squeak is still finding his voice. He may not be the dog who comes bursting into the room demanding attention. Instead, he's the kind of dog who quietly tiptoes into your heart - one tiny tail wag, soft cuddle, and gentle look at a time. Beneath his timid nature is a sweet little soul just waiting for the chance to feel safe. Squeak is currently heartworm positive and has already started the slow-kill treatment process. His future family will need to continue his monthly care while giving him patience, kindness, and time to adjust to life as a cherished pet instead of a breeding dog.. Squeak doesn't need a fast-paced life or grand adventures. He just needs a soft place to land, a calm home
