(DOB 07/16/2021) Bella is a bright, joyful little Yorkie with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She's an affectionate girl who thrives on love and attention, always eager to be near her people. Whether she's hopping in the car for an adventure or out on another a walk (she LOVES a walk) Bella brings sunshine wherever she goes. If you're looking for a cheerful companion who will happily ride along with you and keep you smiling, Bella is your girl. Don't let Bella's tiny size fool you into thinking lap dog, that she is not; this pup is full of energy and absolutely loves the outdoors! She's happiest when she can explore, stretch her legs, and enjoy the fresh air with her people nearby. She'd love a secure, fenced-in yard where she can safely run and play to her heart's content. Because of her small size, outdoor time should always be supervised to keep her safe from larger birds like hawks. Oh, and by the way, Bella is quick on her paws and may try to make a dash for an open door, so a solid safety plan is a must. Bella would be perfectly content as an only dog, soaking up all the attention, she would rather not share her people. She hasn't been tested with cats, and a home with older active children would likely suit her best. She is good on her house training and will need a family who can keep her on a consistent routine and be home often to help her succeed lots of outdoor time! More than anything, Bella is looking for a family who will embrace her lively spirit, continue building her positive habits, and give her all the love she craves because this sweet girl isn't one to enjoy being alone for long. Though she is an affection seeker, she isn't a sit on your lap girl or one to be held without some wiggles. He is not the best with greeting new canine friends on leash; more work on that would be helpful. If you are ready for your next mini best friend, then Bella may be the little wonder for you! As part of Bella's $300 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little girl, you can email [email protected]. If you wish to adopt Bella, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
