Meet Ash, a striking young Blue Great Dane with a big heart, a playful spirit, and a whole lot of love to give. Like most puppies, Ash is full of curiosity, energy, and enthusiasm for life. He adores being around his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to stay close. Attention, affection, and quality time with his humans are high on Ash's list of favorite things. Ash gets along well with medium and large dogs and enjoys having canine companions to play with. He is also good with kids, making him a wonderful candidate for a family looking to add a gentle giant to their home. True to his puppy nature, Ash is still learning all the important big-dog manners and will need continued guidance, structure, and training as he grows into adulthood. Ash was born with a birth defect affecting his left front paw and ankle area. He does walk on the leg and gets around very well, though when he is running or really excited, he may occasionally hold it up. The good news is that it does not slow him down or dampen his joyful personality in the slightest. Ash is happy, playful, and determined to enjoy life to the fullest. Because of his size and playful puppy energy, Ash would do best in a home that understands the needs of a growing Great Dane. He will need continued socialization and a family committed to helping him become the best boy he can be. While he does wonderfully with dogs and children, Ash cannot live with livestock.
