Meet Muffin! This precious 12-pound Chihuahua mix is about three years old and has one of the sweetest dispositions you could ever hope to find. I found little Muffin at the Weslaco shelter while she was nursing a single new-born puppy. Whether the puppy was truly hers or simply the only one she was caring for, one thing was clear-Muffin has been an incredibly devoted and loving mother. Her puppy, now nearly her size at just 8-9 weeks old, is a testament to the wonderful care Muffin provided. Now that her motherhood journey is winding down, Muffin is ready for something she truly deserves: a loving forever home where she can finally be the one receiving all the attention. Muffin is gentle, affectionate, and would thrive in just about any family setting. She gets along beautifully with everyone she meets and absolutely adores people. This sweet girl is more than ready to leave shelter life behind and start her next chapter as someone's cherished companion. Muffin is available for transport to Chelsea, MI on June 20th with approved application and confirmed adoption. Her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes transport cost.
