MEDICAL NEEDS: Sheldon, his littermates, and their mother have tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), a virus that affects the immune system. FeLV-positive cats can still enjoy happy, loving lives, though their lifespan can sometimes be shorter than other cats. FeLV is spread through close contact with other cats, so FeLV+ cats should live with other FeLV+ cats or as the only cats in the home. Sheldon can be adopted on his own, with one of his siblings, or even together with the whole family for someone looking to give multiple FeLV+ cats a loving home.
