Some dogs constantly demand attention. Some dogs constantly need activity. Some dogs turn every little thing into chaos. And then there are dogs like Jersey. The kind of dog that quietly settles into your life and somehow makes everything feel calmer. Jersey is a 3-4 year old mixed breed girl around 50 pounds with one of the easiest personalities you could ask for. She is quiet, calm, affectionate, and content no matter what is going on around her. Want to go for a walk? She is happy to join you. Want to spend the afternoon relaxing at home? She is perfectly content with that too. Jersey is great with dogs and cats and has a very peaceful presence around other animals. She is not pushy, dramatic, or overly needy. She simply enjoys being near her people and going with the flow of daily life. One of the most remarkable things about Jersey is how quiet she is. She rarely barks and has a naturally calm demeanor that makes her easy to live with. Because of her laid back personality, she would likely do very well in an apartment, quieter household, or with someone simply looking for a low-maintenance companion. She is affectionate without being clingy and adaptable without being demanding. Honestly, she is just an incredibly easy dog to enjoy. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion that is happy doing whatever life brings that day. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn't work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back.
