German Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Blaze - German Shepherd Dog Name: Blaze Breed: German Shepherd Dog Sex: Male (not neutered) Age: 2 years old (Birthday: March 24, 2024) Weight: Approximately 80 lbs Blaze is a goofy, energetic German Shepherd with a huge personality and an even bigger love for running and playing. He's the kind of dog who can make people laugh daily with his dramatic reactions, endless excitement, and lovable 'dumb yet smart' behavior. He was raised with his littermate Ember (female). He absolutely loves chasing things, especially balls and bubbles. Just mentioning the word 'bubbles' is enough to send him into full excitement mode - sometimes so excited he may accidentally knock things over in the process. Blaze thrives with space to run and an owner who enjoys active dogs. Even with all his energy, Blaze has a sweet side and seems to know when people are upset or sad. He enjoys affection on his own terms, especially head scratches and scratches near the base of his tail. Occasionally, he'll decide you're the perfect chair and sit directly on you. Blaze can be extremely wary of strangers (barks a lot) and dislikes having his paws touched, so nail trims are best done professionally at a groomer. He is not good on a leash yet and would benefit from continued leash training and structure. Favorites: Balls Bubbles Running and playing Peanut butter Bacon Venison Cheese Eggs Almost any food besides regular dry kibble Training & Skills: Crate trained Potty trained Knows: 'Come' 'Sit' 'Down' 'Stay' 'Inside/Outside' 'Downstairs/Upstairs' 'Ball' 'Bubbles' Current Food: Member's Mark Salmon & Sweet Potato Dry Dog Food (Sam's Club brand Ideal Home: Blaze would do best in an active home with room to run and owners who understand large, energetic dogs. He needs patience, exercise, and continued training, but he gives back tons of personality, loyalty, and entertainment. He would thrive with someone willing to work on leash manners and provide plenty of playtime and stimulation. He's a big-hearted, high-energy boy looking for a home that can keep up with him and love him for exactly who he is
