About Hershey

Hello- my name is Hershey. My family and I found ourselves turned into a rural animal services. Thankfully, Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue was able to make room to take us in and help us get the medical and general care we needed so we could start looking for new families. I am estimated at 3yrs of age, last weighed in at around 17 lbs and look to be a Chihuahua-Dachshund mix - best guess. I am a little shy and reserved at first, but become very friendly once we know each other better. I walk well on leash and get along well with other small dogs; bigger dogs scare me a little though. I am more of a couch potato type and would probably be great for someone retired and looking for a companion. My $450 adoption fee includes vet check, up-to-date vaccinations, spay, heartworm test (negative), microchip and deworming.
