Blue Eyes looks to be a Catahoula Leopard Dog. She could possibly be mixed with Plott Hound, or some people at the rescue also guessed there might be some Mountain Cur or even Rhodesian Ridgeback in her. All these breeds are in the hound family. Blue was part of a hoarding case where she was kept in a crate with very little socialization for a long period of time. She has been learning to trust and how to be a 'dog.' Since Blue Eyes is still a little shy, she would do best with either no children or children over 12 years of age who know how to be calm and gentle with her. She will need a little extra time, patience, and love. She has been okay with other dogs at the rescue, but sometimes gets scared when there's a lot of barking and commotion. If you have a dog, please bring him/her to the meet and greet with you so we can all meet. She walks pretty well on a leash. Blue is estimated at 2 years old and weighs around 50 lbs. Her $150 adoption fee includes spay, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test (negative), deworming, and preventatives while in our care. If you are interested in adopting her, please complete an adoption application at www.gofar.dog
