Meet Cookie, a true sweetheart! She is a 2yro Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix looking for her forever family. Cookie has a neutral temperament and is well mannered at home and when out on adventures; she walks well on leash, is crate trained, potty trained and knows basic commands in English and Spanish. Cookie does well with women, children and dogs- she makes an amazing playmate! She can be aloof towards unfamiliar men, but does live comfortably with her Foster-Dad and previous male-owner who surrendered her before moving away. Cookie is healthy, spayed, and up to date on vaccines and vetting. Cookie will need a committed owner who will meet her high energy needs and reinforce training- ensuring play time, long walks, and occasional adventures. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long group training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home
