About Midnight

Adoption Fee: $300
German Shepherd / Belgian Malinois
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

(NO breeding allowed with her.) Hi! Looking to rehome Midnight, our German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix female (about 1.5 years old). She's extremely loyal, protective, alert, intelligent, and very strong. She would do best as the only dog in the home, especially no other females. Midnight needs a strong one-on-one connection and would preferably do best with a female owner. She can be picky with people, especially males, and really has to build trust first. Once she bonds with you, she is extremely loyal and protective and will definitely let you know when someone is around. She knows basic commands like sit, lay down, shake (her paws), no, yes, and if you tell her 'you wanna go bye bye' she loads into the car quickly. She loves sticking her head out the window and responds very well to her name. She enjoys car rides, treats, and being around her people. She is very vocal and protective, and she has even taught herself to push open doors using her paw. She is still learning indoor manners but is improving. She will paw the screen door when she wants to go outside. She loves to chew, so she needs plenty of toys, structure, and attention. She thrives with consistency and engagement. She has so much potential with training and could make an excellent protection or K9-type working dog with the right experienced handler. She is strong, focused, and alert, and would especially do well with a female police officer or someone experienced with working breeds. She needs room to run and an experienced owner or family who understands protective dogs. No papers. Not spayed and will need updated vaccinations. She is microchipped under my name and address. $300 rehoming fee OBO - serious inquiries ONLY. She does best in a calm, structured home where routines are consistent and expectations are clear. She responds very well to firm but patient handling and learns quickly when training is consistent. She is naturally protective of her environment and will alert bark when she senses unfamiliar activity. She is not suitable for apartments or homes with frequent visitors unless properly introduced and managed. She enjoys being active daily and benefits from long walks, play sessions, and mental stimulation. Without structure, she may become bored and more vocal or destructive. She forms strong attachments to her person and can become protective if not socialized properly. Because of this, she needs someone experienced who understands working breed behavior and confident leadership. She is not aggressive without reason, but she is highly alert and reactive to her surroundings. With the right handler, she can be an incredible companion, protector, and potential working dog. She prefers predictable environments and benefits from slow introductions to new people and animals. Once trust is earned, she becomes deeply loyal and affectionate. She should be placed with someone who has time, patience, and experience with strong-willed dogs. She is not a beginner dog and requires confident guidance. She is deeply loved and this decision
