About OGGIE

***NEEDS FOSTER or FOREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise boarding kennels Meet OGGIE! He is a gorgeous, healthy, soft 5.5-year-old, 45-lb male husky who is housetrained, knows basic commands, and leash manners. OGGIE is dog-friendly, having lived in a house with other dogs and teenagers. OGGIE was lucky to be fostered by a loving family so we learned more about him in a home. He is a sweet, smart boy who loves being close to his people. Around the house, he's calm, quiet, and happy to nap nearby while you work or relax. He enjoys playing ball. He's very food-motivated and eager to learn. He's a great companion for someone who enjoys hikes or neighborhood strolls. OGGIE is still working on a few things, including leash reactivity to other dogs/small animals and some resource guarding. He can also be a bit selective with new people in his home, so he'll do best with a patient, experienced owner who can continue his training. With the right home, OGGIE has so much potential to be an incredibly loyal and loving companion. OGGIE is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines, so ready for his forever home.
