About Toby

Toby is very sweet, active, healthy & fit, neutered 7 year old purebred Dalmatian. He loves walks in the woods and splashing in creeks, and walks well on a leash with proper positive reinforcement. He's extremely friendly with older children (teens) and adults, but more anxious around younger children. He does get along well with kids once he's given the time to get to know them and they're respectful of his sleep space. He's had primarily wonderful interactions with most dogs, as I used to foster puppies, He's had significant training from his puppy stage to about 2 y/o but without recent reinforcement, he'll likely need some retraining for appropriate behavior, especially with jumping on guests and acting appropriately indoors, as his training in recent years has lapsed. He's is being rehomed due to no fault of his own, as it's a divorce situation. He's been living with my ex for over two years post divorce, but my ex states he can no longer care for him.
