About Rusty/Koda

SO MANY MORE PHOTOS UPON REQUEST Rusty (who was renamed Koda by the family that adopted him August 2024) needs a new home to no fault of his own. Rusty/Koda was adopted back in August 2024 by a great family who has cared for him and loved him. However, the family can no longer keep Rusty/Koda due to personal reasons that have nothing to do with him. PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT BELOW. WE WILL NOT SEE YOUR COMMENTS AND HATE TO MISS YOU. Rusty -Koda is going to be 3 years old in July. See old adoption posting below. Rusty is UTD/Neutered and free to a loving forever home. He is wonderful with other dogs, lives with a cat (see photo) and livestock. Great with kids and loves meeting strangers. Still a puppy at heart. Here is the bio written by his owner: He likes to chase cats if he can, but seems like he just wants to play, one of our cats will actually chase him. He has never actually hurt the cats. He has been great and played well with dogs of all sizes ranging from toy poodles to bernese mountain dog. He is housebroken, will eat toothbrushes but otherwise can be left loose inside without being destructive (window blinded look out though), does counter surf though so no food is safe. Does NOT like being crated. Will jump a 4ft fence if left in the yard long enough or he finds something tempting on the other side. Will initially pull on a leash but if walked frequently he starts doing better. Is a bit of a barker if not corrected. When initially seeing people/dogs he can be terrifying but once he is allowed to sniff and greet he calms down. He is a complete sweetheart and thinks he is a lapdog. Would do best in a home with another dog to play with and either a 6ft fenced in yard or a lot of land to roam. Doesn't require a lot of exercise to tire (just a few laps/zoomie trips) and he's good. Loves swimming/water. Does shed another dogs worth of fur. And gives you the cutest puppy dog eyes Also knows the commands come, sit, paw, and stay (you can even put a treat in front of him and then walk out of sight and he sit still and stay until released to get it). He doesnt know his own size though and will unintentionally knock into people hard sometimes.
