About Puppies!

LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY - Within a one hour drive to Pensacola, FL Meet Bliss (f), Blush (f), Bug (m), and Bumper (m)! These adorable Chihuahua mix puppies were born into rescue on 3/14/2026 after their pregnant mom Buttercup was surrendered. She had been dumped in the country with a bunch of other dogs and we got her just in time! Buttercup is a Chihuahua mix who weighs about 16 pounds, dad is unknown. Bliss is a precious little girl with a loving personality. She will happily come over for cuddles and wants to be wherever the action is. Bliss is a follower by nature, loves toys, and enjoys being right in the middle of everything going on around her. Blush is a sweet, outgoing little girl who loves to play. She has an adventurous streak and enjoys exploring new things before running back to join in with her siblings. Toys are one of her favorite things and she is always ready for fun. Bug is a sweet little cuddle bug who plays hard with his siblings and loves little toys and tiny tennis balls. He will hop up for a little loving and then head right back off to play or curl up in a soft furry round bed for a nap. He can be a little shy at first but has such a gentle personality. Bumper is the big brother of the group and loves to play with everyone. He is a sweet baby who is very interested in other dogs, his mom, or food at any given moment. He enjoys tug o' war and would love another playful dog in the home. Bumper has an independent side but still enjoys being part of the fun. These pups are going to be the right size for active families and would probably enjoy kids. They would also love having a furry playmate in the home, but they will be fine as only puppies as long as they get lots of love and attention and time with their people. They are playful and curious and love to explore. They also love to pile up together for naps. At night they curl up in dog beds to sleep near each other. Bliss, Blush, Bug, and Bumper are already microchipped and have had two sets of puppy vaccines. They need their third set in about three weeks. That will be handled by the rescue, along with their spay/neuter when they are old enough. Their rabies vaccines will also be done at that time and all of that is covered in the adoption fee. Because they are not fully vaccinated yet the pups cannot go outside until after their third puppy shot to keep them safe from parvo. Because they have pending vet appointments, the puppies are local adoption only which is within a one hour drive to Pensacola. *To meet or adopt, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Important - check your spam folder for follow up questions and responses from our team. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
