About Viola

Meet Viola located in Pensacola, Fl Some dogs burst into your life like fireworks. Viola is more like a soft porch light glowing at dusk. Quiet, gentle, and full of sweetness once she knows she's safe. Viola is an 8.5 year old Dachshund weighing in at a perfect little 11 pounds. She's the definition of kind-hearted and asks for very little beyond patience, love, and a cozy spot to call her own. This petite lady gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and does well with cats too. She can be shy when meeting new people and will need a family willing to give her time to fully come out of her shell. Once she does, you'll discover a humble little companion who just wants to be near her people. Viola would do best in a home with: �'ۢ A fenced yard, would not do well in an apartment. She isn't great on a leash and a lot of stairs scare her. �'ۢ Someone home more often than not �'ۢ A calm environment that lets her continue building confidence She is housebroken and kennel trained, although she'd much rather be lounging beside you than spending time in a crate. She can still get nervous when being picked up, but she is improving more every day as she learns humans can be trusted. Viola isn't flashy. She's not demanding. She's just a tiny soul looking for a soft landing and someone willing to love the quiet dogs too.
